- Was awarded an Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation Grant focusing on the “The Effects of the Holmium: YAG Laser upon Articular Cartilage.”
- Has performed numerous animal and human studies, evaluating cartilage repair, including assessment of osteochondral autograft transplantation techniques in goat and rabbit models.
- Participated in NIH/SBIR grants for “Cartilage – Cartilage Adhesion by Photo Polymerization” and “A Novel Engineered, Composite Construct for Articular Cartilage Repair” with Dr. Anthony Ratcliffe.
