Dear Delegates,

We are happy to announce the second season of Master Class on Cartilage Repair, to be held in Ahmedabad, India on 24-25th January 2025. The event will be a dedicated two-day conference which specifically targets a very niche area called Cartilage Repair and Joint Preservation. Master Class has always been a concept enhancing experience and is always attended by younger colleagues as well as senior colleagues with a similar enthusiasm and dedication. This year’s theme is ‘Focal Chondral Lesions’. We are very happy to share that more than 12 international faculties and over 20 national faculties have already confirmed their participation for this benchmark event. The chosen faculties have dedicated their whole life for the science of cartilage repair and joint preservation, which is backed by countless scientific papers and presentations. We are glad to offer many networking opportunities with them, apart from dedicated sessions.

The backbone of any cartilage lesion repair is a good diagnosis which largely depends on a good MRI scan and a good MRI reporting. As Joint Preservation Surgeons, we always face a challenge of proper assessment of cartilage lesions. Along with this, a level-understanding between the MR-Radiologist and the Surgeon is equally important. The MR-Radiologist must know the expectations of the Surgeon and vice versa. We are very happy to announce a half day dedicated Knee MR Radiology workshop, a first of its kind in Asia. It is designed to improve understanding and coordination between the Surgeon and the MR-Radiologist. The best part is that this workshop will be conducted by the top-most MR-Radiologists in the World, Dr Seigfried Trattnig from Austria and Dr Steven Wong from Singapore. They will be joined by the top-notch selected Indian faculties as well.

January is always a pleasant month to be in Ahmedabad, with comfortable temperatures and low humidity. It is also a time where many festivals are held in Ahmedabad.
